Defeating T-Mobile’s software block when using your Android phone as a hotspot
Starting ~2012.04, T-Mobile starting putting up this block as part of a Android software update.
Defeating this is via rooting is what the T-Mobile store reps have informally but universally told me to do.
This is actually quite meaningful for us attendees as we typically depend on a T-mobile phone using FoxFi to provide us a wifi hotspot at the meetings.
